STOCKDALE PERFORMING ARTS
Stockdale High School's Performing Arts Department will perform "All Shook Up", a musical inspired by and featuring the music of Elvis Presley. Show dates are March 4th-6th and March 11th-13th in the Stockdale High Theater. Curtain is at 7p, doors open at 6:30p. Tickets are $10 adults, $8 students, $6 students with ASB card and seniors and children under 12 are $5. Tickets will be on sale at the door.
BC THEATRE
The BC Department of Performing Arts will present "Twilight: Los Angeles 1992" in performance March 4th through the 13th in The BC Indoor Theater. 8p curtain time on March 4th, 5th and 6th and March 11th, 12th and 13th. Tickets are $3.50 for students, staff, seniors and military, $5.50 general admission and they will be on sale at the door.
CENTENNIAL HIGH BASEBALL
The Centennial High Baseball Team will play their "Tribute To The Military" game against BHS on Fri., March 12th. Admission is free and they're offering free food to military personnel and veterans.

Bakersfield Recreation will offer golf lessons for adults March 15th through 19th from 9a to 10a at The Buena Vista Golf Course. These classes are for beginner to intermediate. $50 for a five day course.

The BC Planetarium will present "Ibex: Search For The Edge of The Solar System" on Thurs., March 18th at 7:30p. This is a 28 minute full dome show. Tickets are $5.50 for adults and $3.50 for seniors and children. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The Stockdale Moose Lodge will host The 7th Anuual "Cruisin' For A Wish" Car and Motorcycle Show on Sat., March 27th at The Kern Country Fairgrounds from 9a-6p. CALM
The California Living Museum is offering two new adventures for children. "CALM Adventures" is the second Saturday of each month, from 10a to 12n, for ages 6-9. It is a chance for the kids to see the animals up close and also offers plant study. "Toddler Tales" is the first Wednesday of each month, from 11a-12n, for ages 3-5. "Toddler Tales" are stories about animals, visits with wildlife and craft projects. Cost is $5 for member children, $7 for non-members. Regular adult admission applies.

CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL
Our local office of The California Highway Patrol is offering the CHP "Start Smart" Program on the first Tuesday of each month, except April, at 4040 Buck Owens Blvd, at 6p. The program will provide teens and their parents or guardians with an interactive safe driving awareness class and it is free. At least one parent/guardian must attend with the child.
