The 2nd Annual North High Baseball Hot Stove Dinner is coming up Sat., Feb. 4th at The Elks Club in Downtown Bakersfield. CALM
The California Living Museum is accepting volunteers for the Docent Program. These volunteers will help conduct tours of CALM and may graduate to animal handler for special events. The first training session is Sat., Feb. 4th. There are seven training sessions in all, held Saturdays through March 24th. Minimum age is 18.

BIKE BAKERSFIELD
Calling all bicyclists: the first annual "Pedal-Palooza" is coming to Yokuts Park on Sat., Feb. 25th. This is a bike parade to support Bike Bakersfield and to encourage bicycling and exercise in Bakersfield. Ride as a family, group or single participant and be sure to decorate your bicycle and helmet. Participation is free with donations to Bike Bakersfield welcome. Prize catagories include best single rider, most creative bike float, best family presentation, best group presentation and best in show. Registration is at 9a, parade at 10a.

The BC Softball Program and Bakersfield Bobby Sox will co-host a softball clinic for girls ages 7 and up. The clinic is Sat., March 3rd with a Coaches Clinic on Fri., March 2nd. The location is the BC softball field and sessions are limited to 40 girls. Advance prices until Feb. 10th are $40 for 1, $50 for 2 and $60 for 3, day of clinic is $60 for 1, $80 for 2, $100 for 3.
