(Sacramento, CA) — California hospitality workers are calling on Governor Gavin Newsom to sign a bill allowing them to return to work. Unite Here Local 11, which represents 32-thousand workers, is the union that organizing the event at the State Capitol for their hospitality worker members. Members are participating in a fast for justice. The group plans to stay at the Capitol until the end of the month or until Newsom decides to sign the bill.
