Want to Ski This Winter? Make a Reservation

(Lake Tahoe, CA) — More ski resorts will require advance ticket purchases this season to cut down on crowding during the pandemic. Mammoth Mountain and the company that owns both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows in North Tahoe announced yesterday that walk-up ticket windows will be closed. They also plan to “dynamically control” advance sales to limit the number of skiers on the slopes every day. Similar measures were announced last month by Vail Resorts, which owns 34 resorts in North America, including Tahoe’s Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood.
